Earth Science courses is designed for students in 3rd - 6th grades. This basic Earth science course includes information on the structure of our planet and how it is created.

Students learn why towering volcanoes form on the continents and great earthquakes occur in the Pacific Ring of Fire. They also learn about the rock cycle and where each of the major groups of rocks form.

Video lessons DVDs are taught by the author introduce each lesson. They also contain information not covered in the textbook.

More information about Level 1 

  1. Each textbook in our Earth science courses contains 12 lessons, 12 quizzes and a hands-on activity. 
  2. Each book can then be completed in one month when students finish three lessons per week. 
  3. The hands-on activities in these units use the rocks that come with the kits to teach rock identification. 
  4. The Earthquakes unit does not have a set of rocks.
