Science Workshops by Myrna Martin

Myrna Martin is the president of Ring of Fire Science and the author of over 30 books on Earth Science. She taught school for over 35 years before retiring and starting a home-based business with Tom, her husband of over 48 years and her son Brett. She has conducted science workshops all over the country including Hawaii and Alaska.

Myrna is also a homeschooling grandmother having taught her four grandchildren Friday science lessons for several years. She has also homeschooled two of her grandsons.

This science workshop is designed for parents interested in incorporating hands-on activities in their science curriculum. Myrna will go over what should be included in a well rounded science curriculum for all students. She will bring a variety of materials for parents to see and demonstrate how to use them while teaching students of all ages.
